This afternoon, results for the National Student Safety Survey have been released by Universities Australia.

The detailed report has been released on their website (link in comments), and it is not an easy read. This report tells heartbreaking stories from students' experiences on campus and in the broader university environment.

Today will be challenging for many victim-survivors and the wider community. Seek out the support available if you need it. Please find some helpful support channels in the graphic below.

After the last report in 2017, La Trobe's results for sexual harassment were some of the worst in the country. La Trobe has stalled in action to address SASH, and students deserve better. The LTSU takes sexual harm incredibly seriously. We have already spoken with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and we will not stop until meaningful action has been taken. La Trobe owes it to those who have come forward to act now.

After careful consideration of these results, the LTSU will be releasing our full response in the coming days. Stay tuned.
