Welcome to PHYSOC!
La Trobe's Physics Society (PHYSOC) is a student-run organisation, within the school of Molecular Sciences, for anybody and everybody with an interest in physics from undergraduates to academics.

Description

La Trobe's Physics Society (PHYSOC) provides a means of informal contact between undergrads, postgrads, academics and researchers within the Department of Physics. PHYSOC organise a range of academic and social events aimed at postgraduates, as well as undergraduate physics students. Any La Trobe student is welcome to join PHYSOC so long as they have an interest in Physics/Nanotechnology/Astronomy.

- Careers Sessions

Past social events include:
- Movie Screenings
- Video Games Nights
- Dumpling Day
- Barbecues.

Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne 328 Flinders Street Melbourne, VIC 3000

The Australian Institute of Physics Victorian branch in collaboration with physics student societies from universities from around Melbourne to organise the 2018 AIP Careers Night. This event is aimed at giving Australian university physics students the opportunity to interact with employers and professionals in physics, from both academia and industry.
