One of La Trobe's favourite societies: JMAC (Journalism, Media, Arts and Communication)

The JMAC Society is an LTU initiative which exists to provide support and networking opportunities to La Trobe University journalism, media, arts and communications students.

How do I know if JMAC is the right club for me?
If you’re interested in media/communications/journalism and/or are studying an Arts degree, JMAC is the society for you! Want to meet likeminded students, have fun and be a part of a social environment at La Trobe? ALL La Trobe students are welcome: we have members from a variety of disciplines, including economics, creative arts and law.

Is there any cost to sign up? How do I get involved?
Membership is free to all La Trobe students.

The best way to get involved is to attend meetings, come to our social gatherings and keep in touch with us on Facebook. Find us on our JMAC Facebook page to stay up to date with the society:, and join our FB group
