Malcolm (1986) - 50 Years of Film Festival

Malcolm (PG, 90 min)
This charming comedy set in Melbourne chronicles the life of Malcolm (Colin Friels), a shy and awkward mechanical genius. After being unfairly fired from his job and running out of money, Malcolm is forced to open up his home and end his previously solitary existence. Frank (John Hargreaves), newly out of jail, moves in and convinces Malcolm to unwittingly and hilariously use his talents for crime. 1986: directed by Nadia Tass
