Mad Max (1979) - 50 Years of Film Festival

Mad Max (R 18+, 93 min)
Max Max is a post-apocalyptic action thriller that has remained a crowd favourite since its production in 1979. The story follows Max (Mel Gibson), a hard-working Australian policeman roaming the highways of the outback. Max is pushed into dramatic action when his family is targeted by a local gang and must seek revenge. The film features infamous road stunts and chases and is excellent viewing. 1979: directed by George Miller
