The BioGen(previously Biochemistry) Society is a club run by students within the Biochemistry Department in LIMS.

The aim of the BioGen Society is to provide a forum for scientific discussion in a peer-support environment. Functions convened by the Society include seminars by invited speakers and students on a range of scientific topics. The Society is also socially active, organizing and supporting functions throughout the year.

Membership is open to all staff and students of the university who share an interest in the current issues concerning biochemistry, molecular biology and genetic engineering.
